What is RSS?

If you’re new to the world of blogs, all the acronyms and terminology can be very confusing. The most common piece of jargon you’ll come across is “RSS”.

Using RSS, you can be kept up to date with the site without having to manually check for articles.

There are plenty of services to help you make the most of RSS. A few are:

• Netvibes - A very cool (and free) web-based service that can be used to subscribe to RSS feeds.
• Bloglines - Web based RSS reader.
• FeedDemon - Powerful RSS software for Windows.
